Happy Gilmore 2 featured a sweet tribute to Adam Sandler‘s late former co-star Cameron Boyce.
If you didn’t know, Cameron appeared as Adam‘s son in the 2020 movie Grown Ups and it’s 2013 sequel. Cameron tragically died in 2019 after experiencing a seizure in his sleep. He was 20-years-old.
In the new movie that is now available for streaming on Netflix, fans noticed a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it tribute to Cameron.
Keep reading to find out more…During the scene, Adam‘s golfer character Happy Gilmore can be seen walking up toward a cheek-in booth with his clubs in hand. As he approaches, the person inside the booth is watching a CRT television and that’s when Cameron pops up on the screen.
The quick clip appears to be from an episode of Disney Channel’s Jessie, in which Cameron played Luke Ross from 2011 to 2015.
