Laura León ya Tiene Más de 70 Años y Cómo Vive es Triste
Rebeca Valderraín Vera, better known by her stage name Laura León or “La Tesorito,” was born on November 24, 1952, in Comalcalco, Tabasco, and is now 72 years old.
While some may worry that age has brought sadness or loneliness into her life, the truth is quite the opposite — Laura is experiencing a time of deep reflection, happiness, and personal growth.
Before turning 71, she joked about opening an OnlyFans account, but it was more of a playful surprise than a serious intention.
In a 2022 interview, she revealed that she had wigs of all colors ready to “show off the treasure” — a cheeky reference to her body — which made reporters and fans laugh.
She even stated she would donate any earnings from OnlyFans to charitable causes like helping migrants and the elderly, and possibly open a shelter — though journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante suggested this was more of a publicity stunt.
In March 2024, at 71 years old, Laura publicly admitted she was considering retiring from the stage soon: “Very soon… out of respect for the audience… there are beautiful moments in life that must be enjoyed.”
She also revealed that her partner, an older man living in the United States, had proposed to her and asked her to retire with him so they could travel the world together.
Laura expressed that even while contemplating this pause in her career, she feels at peace and is ready to enjoy herself: “There are moments you need to take time for yourself… I’m going to go so he can make me happy.”
She also mentioned the biographical series about her life (a “bioserie”), although that project has been delayed: “Yes, there are things in the works, but everything comes at the right time — God’s timing is perfect.”
Despite her age, Laura continues to exude energy, joy, and charm, as seen during her appearance at the 90’s Pop Tour in the U.S., where fans warmly welcomed her.
In several in-depth interviews, she made it clear that she never had to “trade her body” for success: “I earned what I have, I worked for it — not with my body, but with effort.”
Now in her seventies, she shows no signs of sadness or abandonment — instead, she is embracing a rich and fulfilling chapter of her life filled with love, legacy, and self-awareness.
Laura León may be entering the “post-career” phase of her life, but it is far from dull — she is choosing love, rest, meaningful projects, and authenticity.
So rather than living in sadness or obscurity, Laura León is stepping into her 70s with grace, joy, and an admirable zest for life.
